Our goal is to expand internal capacity by giving you a trusted partner that can effectively help your students experiencing Trauma symptoms.

We will provide your counseling center with licensed and Trauma-trained therapists who have experience with college students. Our comprehensive program combines Somatic-based interventions, inter-session check-ins, and psychoeducation aimed at developing a student’s Cognitive Hope skills.

Today, an unprecedented number of students arrive on college campuses carrying unresolved Trauma. By the age of 16, two-thirds of young adults have experienced Trauma, yet most bear this burden without any mental health intervention or support. When you factor in the possibility of traumatic events occurring on campus, the need for specialized therapeutic interventions becomes clear.

HopeNation Campus recognizes that campus counseling centers offer a unique opportunity to profoundly impact future generations by providing high-quality, accessible, and convenient mental health services.

However, campus counseling centers cannot address this challenge alone. HopeNation Campus is committed to providing your counseling center with a trusted partner specializing in virtual Somatic-based interventions for Trauma.

Improving the lives of our emerging adults.

Fueled by Hope and backed by science, our approach helps young adults uncover a path toward mental wellness, emotional strength, and a hopeful & thriving life. Combining clinical expertise with sound technology, we can create a comprehensive program that helps young adults uncover a path toward mental wellness, emotional strength, and a hopeful & thriving life.

Cultivating Hope is at the heart of everything we do.

Our work hinges on the science of Hope - widely recognized research that shows the correlation between Cognitive Hope and well-being (mental health, social health, educational and career success).

We stake our approach to therapy on these truths and are therefore committed to cultivating Hope in every student.
It is at the center of everything we do. We help students develop motivation and agency to create the life they want and move forward confidently.

Casey Merrill LPC-MHSP

Executive Clinical Director, HopeNation

Let’s create a mutual understanding that Trauma is a physiological response to an event. Trauma stems from the Greek word meaning wound, it is not only what happened but the absence of what should have happened and didn't. Trauma is a wound not always seen but affects all aspects of our life when unresolved.”

Our Impact:

  • “HopeNation Campus and their clinical team have been an exceptional asset to our triage team. The warm hand off and continuous care from the team when accepting referrals and treating our students made a significant difference in their treatment outcomes.”

    Director of Campus Triage Counseling

  • "HopeNation Campus was a great provider for us. They responded quickly, communicated effectively and really took the time to understand our Campus Culture"

    Director of Campus Counseling

  • "Overall, this pilot has been really important for me. I have been able to get in touch with my body. I wouldn't have been able to make it through the last semester without the EMDR therapy. This is giving me such a good steppingstone for whatever I do next regarding my mental health journey”

    Student

  • "When I get reminded/triggered by nagging, I'm able to cope better by not exhibiting negative emotions as I feel fine and powerful"

    Student

  • "I'm going to use my container and peaceful inner place more frequently and get used to doing so and believe that things can get better"

    Student

  • "I am learning from the past. I have a feeling I could get into similar situations in the future. So, doing the future template and knowing I have self-worth regardless are important. It is the perpetrator who is undervalued in my eyes now."

    Student

  • “I have always heard about EMDR but I never had the opportunity to experience it because of the cost and finding a therapist to fit with my schedule. Thank you so much for this opportunity”

    Student

  • “I cannot believe how quickly I started feeling better. Things that I have been thinking about for years started to seem so much better”

    Student

  • "Hard as the processing was, it was nice to process and come to some realizations I never would have had if I hadn't challenged myself to face this"

    Student

  • “I began learning about Brainspotting as I started my healing journey a few months ago. I was feeling emotionally and physically stuck, trapped in fight-or-flight mode, and I needed help. I reached out to HopeNation Campus and began this journey toward hope, healing, and change."
